Outdoor living
you’ll be proud of
Founded by Luke Basham in 2001, Ginkgo Yards is a boutique landscape design practice delivering memorable and sustainable outdoor living solutions in the residential and commercial space. Championing soil biology based principles, Luke and his team of horticultural and landscape specialists partner with clients throughout the Macedon Ranges and beyond to create visually stunning, authentic, and functional landscape designs. Community minded with exceptional botanical insight, Ginkgo Yards is a family based firm specialising in everything from garden design and optimisation to wood, stone, and steel creations. Elevate your outdoor space and create something you’re proud of with Ginkgo Yards.
LUKE BASHAM
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
You get a sense of Luke’s passion and expertise from the moment you meet him. After studying biological farming (and immersing himself in everything from organic farming to soil biology), Luke’s botanical insight runs deep. Talented with a range of materials – including wood, steel, and stone – Luke has been designing and nurturing outdoor living spaces for as long as he can remember. Yet providing memorable landscape designs is only half the story – Luke’s true value lies in his botanical agility, client transparency, authentic drive, and community engagement.
